Some of the lovely people in my life have been letting me borrow their various technologies and/or faces to practice messing around with photography (or whatever you’d like to call this amateur level experiment of mine), the results of which will be this series, field journals. It’s been really fun so far, and I’ve learned a lot, such as what an f-stop is, and that its not just in my head, I actually am shorter than all my friends.

If you know Chelsea Bloom at all, you’ll know she is simultaneously one of the most kind and most fun people to be around. Chels, thanks for letting me practice sticking a camera in your face, and thanks for your friendship. I’m beyond lucky to know you.
